At ServerDukan, we support "Configure to Order" (CTO). You pick the chassis, and we build it. Here is what to look for:

Select the Right Processor (CPU)

  • Entry Level: Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 Series (Haswell). Great for basic file servers and domain controllers.
  • Performance: Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 Series (Broadwell). Higher core counts (up to 22 cores) for heavy virtualization and databases.
  • Scalable: Intel Xeon Scalable (Silver/Gold). For Gen10 and 14th Gen servers requiring maximum throughput.

RAM and Storage

  • Memory: We stock DDR4 ECC Registered RAM (2133MHz / 2400MHz). We recommend at least 64GB for virtualization.
  • Storage: Choose SAS HDDs (10k/15k RPM) for bulk data or Enterprise SSDs for fast database performance. Ensure you select the correct RAID Controller (PERC H730 / Smart Array P440ar).
